This website contains all of the necessary information you will need for the Bronze Medallion and Bronze Cross classes given by myself and your instructor, Stevie Karpman. All information presented in class is composed of information provided in the Canadian Lifesaving Manual as well as all of the documents posted on this website. Please read all of the documents on the Bronze Med page as well as the Bronze Cross page and print them in advance to be prepared for class. This course is meant to be a fun and challenging experience to test your knowledge and physical abilities in order to become a certified lifesaver. I, as an instructor, will guarantee a fun-filled, rewarding and valuable experience during your journey in becoming a lifesaver – one that you will never forget.
For the first class and every other class proceeding please remember to bring the following items:
- Pocket Mask (available at any YMCA)
- Pen/Pencil and Paper
- Gloves
- Canadian Lifesaving Manual (available at any aquatic facility)
- Bathingsuit and Towel
- Extra Clothing (prepare for any kind of weather)
- Copy of Medicare Card and/or Copy of Bronze Medallion Card (if applicable)
